XF 4.2 N/A and SC differences
I have a 09 XFSC with a supercharged 4.2, have blown heads
I was wondering if I got a new N/A 4.2 from another 09 XF could I swap my engine with the N/A moving all my supercharged stuff over?
Are there any major block, head or piston differences that will make this undoable?
I can get a used 35k mile 4.2 N/A for $1600, installed with swapped parts for 2000-2500. Any unforeseen issues to keep im mind?

I'm not doing the work, that's why I gave the install estimate, the mechanic also suggested the NA... I want to know if he knows what he's saying or can i trust him? But I need to know if it's a swap that can even work. Are the blocks and heads forged significantly different or anything? Or can I have the SC equipment swapped over and what else? Do I need to have sensors swapped? Cams? Internals? And if those aren't straight forward questions where do I get the detailed specs info to know?
Cause if my engine has everything on it in great shape minus the warped head then I should be able to have that stuff just swapped too while they are out and ready to work on. Just trying to find or get info on the plausibility and amount of actual difference. Not trying to know if anyone thinks I can personally do it.

you can put 4.2NA engine to your car(need to change engine ecu and some other bits) you cant put NA engine and pu SC on, with that kind of compression you will kill engine. compresion should be not more than 9.5 this is reason why sc engines have diferent shaped pistons, piston oil squirters and (probably) better crankshaft.
