Default XF Sportbrake questions

Hi there,

Apologies if this has been asked before but I've looked through the forums and can't find too much that relevant.
Was just hoping to see if anyone could give me a bit of insight into the XF Sportbrake. I'm looking for a new car, currently driving an 07 S40 but looking to upgrade to an estate. The Sportbrake has always caught my eye and compared to the likes of the 5 series or E class just look miles better in my opinion.
The one I am looking at is a 65 plate XF S Portfolio on 81k miles. Are they a similar price to run as the likes of a 5 series or E class in terms of servicing/maintenance? I know Jag always tended to get a bad reputation for being unreliable but from the few people I know who have owned the saloon it doesn't seem to be any less reliable than the German equivalents.
Any advice on things to look out for would be greatly appreciated, I've seen that door locks can be a common issue on them but other than that haven't seen anything else too common to go wrong with them.

Cheers, James

This is the X250 forum. Is that the right one for you? I thought that all Sportbrakes were X260s ...

The X250 was the XF available from 07-15 correct? There was a sportbrake version from 12-15 before being replaced by the X260 if I am not mistaken.

Lucky you, those were never exported to North America ... :-(
