Default XF Tires recommendation - Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus?

I'm looking for a set of all-seasons for my XF to be installed in the spring. My primary requirement is comfort - quietness and ride. According to Tire Rack, the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus are the top rated for comfort. Does anyone have experience with these tires or perhaps another recommendation?

Thanks

I've had them for almost 3 years and I'm happy with them. If you're still on your original TPMS sensors, this would be a good time replace those. However, when I replaced mine, they were not Jaguar brand, and that's when my troubles began. When I went back to OEM sensors, the problems disappeared. Find a good price on OEM and get those.

you might as well wrap those stretchy balloons clowns use to make balloon dogs around your wheels. The P7's have such a weak sidewall and the tread wear is pathetic. Had them on my X Type....if you get them make sure you buy the road hazard warranty and expect blowouts at highway speeds.

Just curious, will you drive through snow with these tires, or not?

FWIW, I have Bridgestone Pole Position AS970s on my XF for the summer, and a set of snow tires for the winter. Although I would have preferred a "summer" tire for the summer driving, we sometimes get a few random, cold days in the fall, and since my wife is the primary driver of the car, I didn't want her to be on a set of "hockey pucks" on days like that, before the winter tires go on the car....

It would be extremely unlikely that I would use these in the snow/ice. I have a dedicated set of winter tires, so it would only happen if we had a late spring or early fall storm.

I had them on my 2008 XJ for 6 months before I sold it. I was very happy with the ride comfort and lack of noise.

I agree with Cherry. I have never had good luck with Pirelli. There are far better tires on the market at better prices. As I have said before, don't overlook Hankook. No affiliation whatsoever, but I have found them to be a quiet, comfortable ride with excellent performance at a good price point.
