xf trunk leaper
I am just curious if the 2014 XF has the leaper on the trunk along with the Jaguar lettering under it. I have a 2013 that just has the leaper. When you look on the Jaguar site it has both the lettering and the leaper. Does anyone know if the leaper is the same size on the 2013 xf and the 2014 xf. I like the looks of the lettering under the leaper personally. I had read where they were going to get rid of the lettering so I guess they did and decided against it.

thank you. that is crazy. the font they used under the leaper is a different type than on the sides on the 14. I did get a jaguar badge to go under my leaper that matches the original font. I just think it looks better with the lettering. no one will probably notice but me...thank you again

I am also wanting to put the supercharged emblem on it. I have looked at several versions just not pulled the trigger. I did however put the Jaguar under the leaper in the back with the traditional font and I think it looks really nice. I have seen in a few pictures a leaper on the dashboard. Was that an option? I don't want to go crazy adding stuff but I did think that looked pretty nice as well

This guy specialises in new OE Jaguar badges:
items in OPELISE.COM-Genuine OE Car Badges store on eBay!
Not listing the one you want but could be worth asking him the question about availability as it will be expensive from the dealer.

XF Side Vent Chrome Upgrade Install
Hi:
I think the hardest part of installing the chrome side vent was when I think I broke one of my finger nails. This was when I was trying to peel off the backing to the 3M tape that is on the back of the part.
In regards to the side vent chrome upgrade, I believe two types exist. The first is the actual removal of the entire vent and the other is a chrome piece with 3M stick-on backing. I chose the 3M side vent part and it operates and looks like the real one!
It would take a tornado hitting it directly to remove that part. You might also have success in removing it with a heat gun shooting at it for a long time and trying to pull it off with any remaining finger nails you might have.
Cheers

When I checked the Parts Catalogue, I could understand why. There's an unbelievable number of badges and badge combinations:

There's even three changes of Leaping Jaguar.

Can you provide the part number for #11. I thought it was C2Z25876, but that part was delivered was a 3.0 AWD badge.
Thanks
