XF Ventilated Seat- Dealer Stumped....

I have a 2010 XF Premium with ventilated seats. The passenger side works fine, but the drivers side cooling will only operated for 10 minutes and then shuts off. The seat heater did not work as well. The dealer replaced the ducting under the seat. No joy.... They then replaced the module that controls these functions. Again, not fixed.
Any Ideas or case history from the forum?

If there is a relay in circuit (quite likely) I'd change it out. Sounds like an electrical component is overheating and breaking circuit. It would be a relay common to both seat functions and since heating and cooling are complementary functions I expect power is fed to either through one relay.
I don't know but a quick look at a wiring diagram would show this. Any master mechanic should be able to trouble shoot this.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I can actually hear my ventilated seats when they're on in my '09 Premium. Mine run for 10 or 15 minutes, and then I can hear less and less to a point where it barely runs at all. Thought maybe they cool off, and then "neutralize" (for lack of a better word) to a steady point that it remains at. I don't know for sure.

Returned the car to the dealer and they tried a re-config on the module. Picked up the car and the ventialtion ran for 3 minutes and then stopped. The passenger side seat will run all day without shuting down. I am pretty sure that the ventilation should run as long as it is on. When it stops working, you can not hear the relay click when you command off and on. Looking at the part list, it looks like there is a seat back and a cushion fan. I am sure that the cushion fan was replaced and not the seat back. Maybe an issue with the seat back fan.
