XFR 600hp

yeah, it's tuned
before tune was a 12.7ish at 111ish mph
after tune is a 12.4ish at 115ish mph
i have not done x pipe just yet. i remember seeing on your youtube you have the custom intake and the x pipe - did you remove the cats? what else gets your car that much more top end? my track has an elevation of only about 900' above sea level so i don't think the air is to be considered thin

how to tune my xfr
[QUOTE=1Fastcat;615610]
600 is easy, The only thing holding us back is more tuner time with the ECU/TCU ans a 3lb pulley with new belt. This motor is very detuned and very conservative out of the box. If the R-S is 550 and mine is say 580ish 20 more is very easy to obtain and still be just as reliable. anything more then you will start to be out of range and taking life of parts away
Well I live in Florida and I just got an xfr 2010 so how do I get this to 600 horsepower do I find a local place to do the computer flash I found one place that'll do it for 1200 he said it's the same as the Range Rover tune I don't know where to go there's not that much things going on for a Jaguar down here but if you could give me some advice where to get a good tune to bump this up to 600 that would be great
why cant someone develop a better tune?

Try Velocity AP
640 HP with a crank pulley and tune. They send you the pulley and an OBDII tuner to load the tune into the car. You only need to find someone to install the pulley
VAP Tune and Pulley 640HP

that referenced product is noted specifically for an F Type, but should apply to 2013 and later BOSCH managed cars.
the cars being recently discussed in this thread are DENSO managed cars (2010 - 2012).
i have VAP tune (only upper pulley done) and they say realistically somewhere just north of 550hp potential.
yeah, if you do lower pulley and high flow cats and x pipe and etc, possibly 600
remember all, our S/C is only 1.9 liters. that's the issue - can only get just so much done with that s/c.. if any aftermarket support came up with a larger bolt on tvs S/C system, we'd be able to make more power like the other s/c cars on the market.
or if a company came up with a s/c delete twin turbo setup, that would be cool too. but likely $10k.

It's quite possible to make 600+ out of the Denso unit.
Mine XJ runs 7.62 100-200 and traps 197kmh on a 1/4mile run (however, since it was on a public road i was braking a bit before a 1/4 mark). The runs were made with a 3/4 full tank and approx 100kg of additional weight in a trunk (not to mention mine weight of 120kg).
14.7psi of boost and 602g/s of airflow.
Tune, dual pulleys, cats deleted and x-pipe, that's all. Car is daily driver and very pleasant to drive

2010 xfr on nitrous
Hey guys so i have a 2010 xfr i have done the pulley intake tubes but no filters since they messed up my af ratio, i have nitrous and i have pushed this engine to 650 whp but my problem now is getting the car to hook i have stock 20s on it and racing 20s on 31535r20 MT tires does any one know if their a way to put altleast 18 or 17s for more tire on the xfr thanks
and its tuned by alphajags in san diego california i ran 11.4 sec 1/4 at 132mph but if i could get it to hook to get my 60ft down it would be awsome any ideas

I looked for a while early on to downsize to 19s for winter tires but couldn't find something to fit reliably so I stuck with 20s
Maybe if you find something with a curved barrel and push it out on spacers? But I think you're pushing it...

You will struggle to downsize the wheels on the XFR and 5.0SC models. They have huge 380mm front brakes and it will be hard to get smaller wheels around them. There are a few Jag 19inch that fit, but most aftermarket 19s won't. And I've not heard of anyone getting an 18 or less on them with that braking system

The front rotors are bigger and really the problem. But if you want to keep 20s on the front and just downsize the rear (as it's RWD) you could swap the rear calipers and rotors for the smaller 326mm ones which should be a simple bolt on swap. But for a 600hp car not sure how much you want to downsize the brakes...
