Default XFR differential issue

I run across post occasionally regarding XFR diff issues.

What year was there a problem, and what was the solution?

Thanks

The only thing I've come across is this guy, had several lock up. You might be able to rebuild it, but probably better off replacing with new.

2009-2010 models had the most impact of faulty diffs.
I have a 2011 and i felt like mine was acting funny. I flushed out the diff fluid and the weird feeling went away.

however if your diff does go bad, a new one is closer to $10k i believe. some guys here have rebuilt theirs

Mine is a 2012, and i was just making sure I didn't fall into the faulty years.

I haven't had any issues and or strange noises.

Remember to change the fluid out at regular intervals though. Can't remember the recommended time frame though since mine was done when the half shaft became two quarter shafts . I think 40k???

Bigg Will, can you chime in here?
