Default XFR Hood

So I have a 2010 XF Supercharged, and I've picked up an XFR front bumper for it but I'd really like the vented hood as well, but I'm having real problems tracking one down. A local breaker wanted close to the price of a new one for a spare, and since it'd need painting anyway this makes little sense.

Does anyone know what the material differences are between the XFR vented hood and the XF non-vented hood? Is it just the holes for the vents with a support underneath for the vent covers? Is it at all possible to cut holes for the vents and fabricate supports underneath the holes to fix the vents in place?

Or does anyone have any ideas about a place I can source one for a halfway reasonable price?

Thanks

I'm sure you could fit vents for less than the cost of a replacement. Take some photos and ask a good body shop for a quote
