Default the XFS vs the XFR 2010

the XFR is 1/2 sec faster than the XF supercharged. both are 5.0 motors... where is the difference coming from? or am i comparing to an 09 with the 4.2 ?

XFR has 40 more HP. It really only shows past 2nd gear though because the XFR is traction limited out of the hole. Torque is also up about 40 ft. Lbs.

As far as I know the difference is entirely in the ECU tune and the mechanicals are identical.

Yes, a tune can even them out. Some have even been able to get a hold of the XFR-S tune.
