Default +*+*+Project Crusher by Buckhead Imports Performance, XJR with 2.9 Whipple 700HP+*+*+

Our customer came to us and wanted an extreme build making around 700HP, so we went to work and this what has transpired:
  • BIP Steel sleeved XJR block
  • BIP ported and polished heads
  • BIP custom fuel rails and injectors
  • Forged Ross pistons and rods
  • 2.9 whipple with custom intercooler and intake manifold to bolt to the Jag block
  • BIP tuning done by Tony Lawshee
Thanks for looking and let us know if you have any questions.

Whipple 2.9 with intercooler, rail, injectors, throttle body plate etc...

I have a few questions: Today is tuesday sept 11th, 2012. So you will have a running car somewhere around Tuesday, sept 25th, 2012?

Your build looks simply jaw dropping amazing! So you hope to be getting 100 hp per cylinder= 700 HP, just kidding (was looking at the 3 pipe header photo.

When you are finished please post what you would charge to duplicate this build... There may be a few interested parties.

I have a question for you,

If someone offers you a gift, and you refuse that gift, to whom does the gift belong?

I'm assuming it will be much more then Avos' twin screw since it's got more custom parts; intercoolers/intake manifolds, fuel rails, supercharger outlet, coolant outlet, etc.

That's just to be able to run that supercharger. Not even counting the cylinder sleeves, pistons, heads, headers, etc. since they are not absolutely 'needed' for the supercharger to work.

What does that have to do with the fact that you sound like a little kid in a toy store. I want everything in the store.

Subbed!

I'd be interested in the following,
*waterpump outlet
*TB elbow
*intercooler and intake manifold

This thing should make serious HP, I like the way TC is now thinking about brakes to stop it....man you've had 18 months to sort that out!

I'm interested in the change of project name.

Crusher? What happened to Overboost?

Who exactly are you out to "crush" with this project?

I would have to ask if you thought you were a Great Warrior ??? Then I would know how to answer the question.

The truth is still the truth, even if coming from the mouth of babes. If I say the sun is out, I am not the first, nor the last to say it, but it is just as true.

Since you feel you must evade the question, I already have my answer.

You are projecting and not seeing things clearly. You are seeing the world as you are, not as it is...

The few people who might be interested do not include me. I have clearly said I, for now, am going to see how far I can get with the eaton. I talk to a lot of jag owners who want to modify their cars but do not visit this board. There are a few of them who may be interested in going all out, but they, being smart, must first see a working finished product. Some of these may choose to become customers of Buckhead-so my questions were appropriate for this thread, and hopefully, to the end of being of benefit to BP and whomever chooses to have them install their products. They did the R&D, they deserve to eat the bread.

I myself am only looking for a mid 12 second comfortable sleeper.

Now stop trolling / hijacking this thread. This thread is by and for Buckhead Performance and their offerings. If you wish to continue this conversation, then PM me.

Some pics of our custom in house built headers. We have another XJR in the shop that made 309rwhp, and just slapped these exact same suckers on there. Nothing else was changed on the car, we will release the data soon We have a vid of the run too!

Thanks for the pics but frankly I find your outfit completely full of sh#t, you've made some fancy headers, you've done a dyno run, you've got "results". So what...!

Seriously, post some numbers or stop wasting our time...
