Hi
I maybe wrong, but it looks like the vehicle handbook for the XJ na (without supercharger) and the XJR (with supercharger) are both included in this handbook PDF file.
Use supercharger to search in Adobe Reader (top menu - edit, then find or shortcut key CTL+F). There are 6 references to the word supercharger in this PDF file.
Most of them refer to the vehicle specs, fuse amps, etc.
If you need repair information, then you should download the JTIS21 Jaguar Shop Repair Manual here on this forum.

Jim,
Do you know if there is a version of JTIS21 for Apple Mac computers. Specifically I have a 2000 XJR and I want some documentation helpful to remove and replace the throttle body. Any info would be appreciated.
I have already had my throttle body rebuilt by Automotive Scientific Inc. But in an effort to diagnose my problem, my mechanic had removed mine and installed another. He is now allowing me to remove the one that is currently on my car and reinstall the rebuilt one. I can not seem to find a 2000 XJR repair manual anywhere.

Hi metoymi
Welcome to the Jaguar Forum.
First let me point you to my thread on the XJR Supercharger R&I:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...f-files-58889/
Look post# 1 in that thread. It also the Throttle Body R&I (looks like the Air Cleaner and Throttle Body need to be removed then the supercharger) in that post.
Update - If you cannot access the PDF (because your post count is under 10) then Logout of the forum and come back into the forum as a guest (do not login) - guests can access the PDF files.
I know of one forum member that has the JTIS running on his Mac - using virtualbox environment from his mac... - Sounds like he installed a version of virtualbox on the Mac, then went thru the JTIS21 install with the virtualbox environment (like a WinXP application).
You could also buy a Jaguar XJ8/XJR (X308) PDF download from forum member iguide listed on Ebay for $25:
1998-2003 JAGUAR XJ XJ8 XJR (X308) Workshop Service Repair Manual+Wiring Manuals | eBay
I also had my Throttle Body rebuilt about 3 weeks ago by ASI. I have a 2001 XJ8 and I broke the vacuum hose quick-fit connector that is attached to the Throttle Body when I removed it to send to ASI.
Here is a JPEG file showing the Vacuum Hose - Part# AJ81211 that is attached to the Throttle Body
Here is a thread about cooling hose fitting (quick-fit connector) that gives you way to disconnect it without breaking the vaccum hose connector (retail price of the T - hose is $80).

Hope this information helps.

2000 XJR Throttle Body
Jim,
Once again many thanks for the online documentation. I printed off the Air Cleaner and Throttle Body portions and used those as guides to replace my throttle body.
There were a few subtle differences because I think the documents more applied to an XJ8 as opposed to my XJR but I simply ignored what did not apply. (Actually I think the procedure is simpler for an XJR).
First I have to give kudos to ASI. The rebuild of the throttle body by them was good and for $325.00, they saved me over $2000.00. And I got the experience of removing the throttle body and replacing it. The only issue I had after the install and restarting the car was the very high idle because ASI set the throttle
position sensor to maximum advance during the rebuild. But they quickly told me how to retard the idle back to normal. So after resetting the idle, my car seems to be fine. Really appreciate you and the Forum.
