Anyone else with upped HP having issues with breaking Trans Mounts?
I had the Anchor 3063 mount on there for about a year and everything was nice and dandy untill I launched the car with 2 passangers. Looking at it, they look pretty flimsy in design. Has anyone found an alternative or reinforced it?

Well, I finally got it on the lift. I checked out the trans mount and the Anchor 3063 looks as good as new and even when pryed shows good flexibility, so for $27 from rock auto it's a steal since i've had it on the car for over a year.
The real cluprit was the driveshaft flex disc.

I changed bith of them out for new URO units and right after the installation I started experiancing a light vibration between 60-80 miles.
I bonestly thought it's the wheels, but after I swapped the faulty one for a new one also URO, the car is smooth as silk again.

Did you feel it when it broke?
Can you please provide info on where to buy this?
How easy is it to replace?
Update, while searching I found this warning about a catastrophic failure with a URO driveshaft flex disc http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w126...c-warning.html

When it broke I started feeling knocking noises when accelerating, thats why I was positive its a trans mount. It didn't break off completely.
When it got torn it was when I launched the car with 2 friends in a back seat.
Replacing them takes removing 6 bolts that hold the disc to the driveshaft and the 4 holding the center support bearing so you can slide the driveshaft back and forward.
Tighten the bolts in sequence rotating the driveshaft a bit at a time to make sure it's not binding.

Another issue to watch is the upper diff mounts where theyre "spot" welded to the body. Ive seen 3 tear out over the years from people that use their r's if you do i would recommend cleaning around the brackets and fully welding. Im speaking of the tube brace that goes behind the diff bolted into 2 brackets on the underbody which pulls away from the car on launch and not the front mounts (big bushings) that compress on takeoff

Hope you don't mind, but i've posted up your pic so everyone can see.
A picture says a thousand words, and this has me a bit worried now. I've been noticing some occaisional slop in the driveline recently, so as soon as I get a chance i'll be swapping out these on mine, 100'000 miles & 9 years old, and it's copped a beating on & off the track in the last few months...oh dear...
