Front Suspension Bushings - Blown Again
2000 XJ8 with 32,500 miles. Front bushings replaced at 17,000 miles by dealer. Front Bushings replaced at 24,000 by me. They feel like they are going again. Does anyone make a stiffer, longer lasting bushing??? OR, has a service report been published on the front suspension bushings??

Front Suspension Bushings - Blown Again
Which bushings are we talking about here ? The upper / lower a-arms ? The front sub-frame bushings ? The stabilizer bar (sway bar) bushings ? I can hear my a-arm bushings creak a little when they're cold, but no knock. Do you get a knock ? Just curious. Thx.

I have 82K on my 02 R...no bush issues except the front anti-roll bar bushes that groaned and knocked like crazy when I got the car at 78K off ebay. I did NOT replace them as they looked fine upon removal...I did wrap plastic insulating tape around the Bar a couple of times to provide some dry lubrication to these bushes...that was 4000 miles ago and they have been silent since. Common issue from what I've read online. Rear lower shock bushes wear out also.
