Default Owner's Manual

Anyone know where I can find an online manual for a 2001 X308 (or any year X308)?

Default Here is 2000 XJ8 Drivers Handbook PDF file

Hi
I found this 2000 XJ8 Drivers Handbook PDF file either somewhere here on the forum or on the internet (not sure where).

Here is the PDF file:
Jaguar_XJ_2000_Drivers_Handbook1.pdf

This was a 9.84 meg PDF file - I used Acrobat Pro Ver 9 to optimized it down to 4.88 meg PDF file. All of the information and pages still look the same.
The forum has a maxium PDF file size of 9.54 megs in a post.
Hope this works out for you.

It is nice to see a seven year old thread still has value: check out the stickies, you might find some other documentation you can use.

OBTW: haven't seen a post from Lombardi in over a year . . . still active? Probably moved on with a newer car like a a lot of us.

Hi Jim Hart
We still have our 2001 XJ8 Westminster blue Jaguar
It now has about 155000 miles on it is will be 17 years old in August.

I am now 77 years old - had my birthday feb 6th. Still active and still maintaining the Jaguar as a daily driver also the 1990 Acura Legend LS 4 dr sedan with 180,000 miles on it (just past its 28 years use - last 22 years with me driving it).

I have been busy with our large kitchen LED lighting project - we now have 16 LED lighting strip fixtures (most of the are 2ft long).
All of them controlled by one wall switch that is attached to the kitchen lighting circuit.

I am not a trained electrical person but I have learned a lot over the last 2 months from the project.

I fixed the dropbox files access last week by contacting their website peoples and getting the ban taken off the account.

Thank goodness the Jaguar been a pleasure for the last 2 years.

Good to hear from another "antique" and an old timer on this forum. I too have saved a lot of money using the stuff you have posted over the many years. Thank you.

Turned 75 super bowl Sunday. Knees went out two years ago and I couldn't get in or out of the JAG. Traded for Range Rover; got bilateral knee replacement which fixed the low entry problem and missed the Jag (for the fun of keeping it up if for no other). Found the new Continental is almost a design copy in space and drivability.

Jim, you ARE still around, that is great!
You were the person replying to my very first post, where I was asking stupid questions about a possible purchase of our VDP.
Never forgot you, and used a lot of the information you collected on this forum over the years, must have been a lot of work for you.
Not intending to thread-jack, but THANK YOU!

If you're still around, thanks so much. I was only able to find a 2008 manual for my 2003 XJ8, this one seems much more correct.

Thanks again, sir.

That's the one, it seems to match my 2003 quite well.

Thanks again. Nothing in there I need right now, but I can see where it may well be useful in the future.
