Config B error
Hi Everyone,
I recently installed bluetooth in my car and now i'm getting a config B error on my dash. My car didn't come equipped with a phone so I bought a PSE module (the newer series), the bluetooth module itself, the microphone, and the connector that loops off the where the voice module is in the back. The connector came in after everything else so before it came in I brought it to the dealer to have it flashed and the phone added to the cars programming. They weren't able to get the computer to talk to the phone module and the CONFIG B error remained. At that point I didn't have to Voice loop installed yet so is it possible that would not allow the computer to program the phone module? The whole system works perfectly without any glitches and the car is working great, but I keep getting the CONFIG B message on my mileage display along with the red and yellow flashing lights. Does anyone or any of the techs on here know what might be going on, or if I should take it in and try again now that I have to connector loop installed?
Thank you in advance for your help!

I had this happen to me when I had the IDS programming done when I added NAV. If I remember correctly, you will need to have whomever is doing the IDS programming to clear the module and then to a total reload of the software according to your vehicle specs. You will have to do it with IDS, there's no reset that you can do yourself.
