Default Mesh Grill from Mina Gallery A+++

I don't like to mess with professional design and engineering but I did not think the chrome grill on the Vanden Plas really complemented the entire car. I liked the mesh on the XJR, so I ordered the Mina Gallery Mesh Grill for $125.00+. It was fairly simple to install.

The looks are outstanding. The quality of the part is exceptional and in the sun its dazzling. I would highly recommend this upgrade.

The mesh grille upgrade is definitely crucial. Got mine from Mina as well.

I've gone black mesh on the XJR, and changed the grille surround from black to chrome, something different!

And black mesh lower as well....

That looks much better! Top job!

I am considering getting a lower mesh grille on mine, to match the upper, but the only place I have found charge £155 ($200) which is quite a bit really.

Great Job, Thanks for the pics, I was planning on changing my VDP grill, will definitely do so, just curious, you mentioned it was easy to fit, anything to add, I notice a couple of other people who had bought the Mina grill said it was difficult to snap into place......

I have asked in another thread - but anyone bought this one?

Jaguar 04-07 XJ6 XJ8 TOP Wire Mesh Grille Insert X350 | eBay

$30 cheaper when you factor in shipping, not much, but it pays for a couple of lunches!

I can't right now Vance, I popped an air-spring last night and she looks a little down in the mouth. But Brutal will be by tomorrow to fix her up then I can take pics.

David.

Here's the step by step directions!: Front Grille C2C22389xxx350 (1).pdf

The grill assembly is held in by two screws on the top and snaps in two slots at the bottom. Takes a little work to separate it,but its fairly easy. There is a black duct that snaps over the grill to hold it in, that is removed with a screw driver and the grill pushed out the front. Try not to break it.

Assembly is very easy. Place the mesh grill in from the back, make sure it lines up correctly or make adjustment by bending it slightly and snap duct over the top. Done.

The quality of this is exceptional and the wire used has flat surfaces that really make it sparkle in the sunlight.

Ebay Grill maybe the same. You'll just have to try it.

It's not worth the hassle. Its come US Priority Mail which is fast. The instruction pdf. I attached is much more detailed than Mina's, so use mine. Get done. You'll be very satisfied.

Just got mine in the mail today and installed it in about 30-45 minutes, only because the instructions from Mina were vague at best but, logic and a careful hand (to prevent breaking tabs, etc.) prevailed and I have to say that the car looks fantastic with the new mesh.

I'm going to go wash her and post some pics later... The quality of the product is first rate but I wish I'd seen edobernig's PDF before digging in becasue Mina could really benefit their customers by updating the included instructions.

Oh well, it's done and looks great and I didn't scratch or break anything in the process so, overall I suppose I'm very satisfied.

JJ, sorry to hear about your saggy bag, I hope it all works out and you get her standing tall again soon!

Cheers,
Vance
