2006 Super v8 - Sirius Radio - Antenna port
HI All,
Well as of this past Saturday we are the proud owners of a 2006 Super V8. :-). We bought it in Palm Springs and drove it home to Denver - wow, what a car.
On to my questions. The car has sirius radio "installed". It appear to be a professional installation, and the subscription also appears to be active. Interesting enough it also appears to be using an FM transmitter to broadcast. I am confused as to whether Jaguar installed these, or if these are purely aftermarket. Does anyone know where i can get the original ashtray assembly? I do not think i will renew a siruis subscription and I'd prefer the additional walnut. :-)
Also, would anyone know where I can tap into the FM antenna? I'd like to install a TranZit Bluetooth audio device. I use this in our Range Rover and have had very good luck with it. Problem is, since the Jag does not appear to have an external antenna I'm not sure where to begin looking.
Thanks for any help you can provide!!

Hi, if you put this on the X350 forum you may get more help, the antenna is set into the rear window, take a look and you will find the top two or three lines are marked antenna, I guess the wiring would be either under the C pillar cover from the inside or up and under the parcel shelf, accessed from inside the trunk.
