Hey man, reading your post. I am going through this very thing right now. How did this turn out for you? Did you remove the intake manifold?
I had the dealer inspect and they told me the tube under the intake manifold was leaking. I don't know the part number. Do you have it?

I have put the car in mothballs for the foreseeable future since I last posted, and possibly will get shot of it.
I have got to a point that I cannot afford it anymore.
Sad.
Best car Ive ever had, BUT reality is I've been unemployed for over a year or so now....
Oh well, Life happens... All good.
God is great!
Cheers

Hi all. Although I own a 2010 XK 5.0 with only 13,000 miles, I just got the sad news that I too have a leaking outlet pip AJ8-9664. I've been complaining about a coolant smell after a drive and some very slight coolant loss for the last 5 years. Last year they replaced my water pump (under warranty) and it made no difference. Now that I'm out of warranty they are telling me the bad news. The cost for replacement is $1200! Yes, the intake must come out and the gaskets are $100 through Jaguar. Of course I'm NOT DOING IT. I'll continue to watch my coolant level. The plastic coolant parts are the weak link to Jaguar ownership. Too bad. I'll just continue to watch my reservoir level.

When they did the water pump did they did they recommend replacing the plastic pipes? I know when I had water pumps done my dealer recommended replacing them, but these pipes were not under warranty so I paid for them but the install was almost free as they were there. At the veryu least the next time they will need to remove the supercharger haver them replace the pipes then.
