Agreed with xjsss on timing chain tensioners, cooling system, supercharger snout. Also check for codes with a code scanner and make sure codes weren’t recently reset.
There are also several wear and tear items due around this time too:
suspension bushings, transmission and engine mounts, brake rotors, etc. If these haven’t been done recently they can get costly.
Other common quirks may include sunroof shades not working, sunroof track rusting, buzzing/rattling from behind door, speaker rattling, check that ventilated seats work (some have cracked ducting), slow touchscreen (can update to 2012 screen), and sticky buttons.

Have you had any issues after the latest waterpump? I was looking at purchasing a 2015 xjr as an upgrade from my 2009 xf supercharged.
