Chiefg, I know you are going to think I have lost my mind, but try this. Open the hood of your car and remove the cover that goes over the top of the engine. If you look, you will see where a silver line runs over the top of the engine. This is your fuel line. Disconnect this at both ends and set off to the side. Now, using about 3 feet of tubing on each side, fit the hose over the fitting that is left on the engine and put the open ends into a container (mayo jar for example). Now, open and close the door of your car. Did you get gas into those lines? If so, then we know your fuel pump is working. If not, you either have an issue with the fuel pump or the fuel pump is not getting power. once you have completed this check, you can put the fuel line back on. I found with my car that after removing that fuel line, the car ran like hell for a minute or so. I can only imagine that if you replaced the fuel pump, that it is going to need some time to refill all of the lines it needs to. This is where you may find opening and closing your driver's door every say 15 seconds for 2 minutes may refill the fuel line for you.
The other thing that I would try is removing one of the tubes attached to the intake. Squirt some starter fluid in there and then attempt to start the car. If it runs for a second or two, then this would confirm a fuel issue. If the car does not even try to catch, then you know you have a spark issue.
