I recommend that anyone working on their exhaust should do a search on several threads by johncy2000 as he tried almost any exhaust modifications you can imagine. Also, Velocity makes a front pipe with more open catalyst that many have tried and used.

I've seen Johncy's straight pipe videos...I must say they excite my inner 5 year old. Its strange, when I was younger I didn't care about power or sound.
To install you will need to file down the inner sleeve/cuff which comes out so its easy to do. Took about 15-20 mins total to file and install both sides.
You can see the inner sleeve, thats the part that needs filibg on the outside. The ridges need filing down to allow it to fit, 59mm vs 60mm factory.

Hi SoSoguju,
I know this thread is very old, and not sure if you are still around this forum, but may I just ask anyway that if you could elaborate more on how to install these tips? What do you mean by filing? The one you bought is sold out, I am asking if ukstylings have similar tips for me.
And help would be great because it could potentially save me a lot of money. If I could not find tips that would fit I would have to custommade a pair of mufflers with quad tips.

You shouldnt have to get entire mufflers made for custom tips. Since the replacement tips are a separate piece, you can have those custom made by a shop. I was quoted about $300 for custom quad tips about 6 months ago, if you want a point of reference.

Hi Hank,
I personally think spending $300-400 on tips is way too expensive, because this is purely 4 stainless steel tubing.
Therefore if I were to spend money I would rather pay $800 for pair of custom made mufflers with quad tips to at least have some improved soundtrack.

Way too much for simple tips that do nothing for performance nor sound.
I would suggest looking into Mina Gallery where you get the tips, muffler, and tubing lol.

i agree it is pretty expensive, but unfortunately all the dual tips out there are just different variations of the same 4 circles. that being said, there were a few Porsche tips that i thought might look pretty good, but its hard to know if they will fit properly or not.
