I am replacing the injectors, coils and plugs, but I'm having a hard time getting the back 2 on the passenger side out, any thoughts ?

Do you have the LR/ Jaguar fuel injector removal tool? I heard it helps a lot.

Default Injector tool

I bought one of the tool online, and unless you remove the whole electrical box shroud it won't get to # 3 or # 5. I looked at it for a bit and ended up making my own tool which worked perfectly. I changed # 1, 2, 4, 6 as they were easy to get to but the problem still existed. The problem lay with the # 5 injector, once that was changed it runs perfectly

Thanks to everyone who put forward suggestions.

That's great you have delineated the source and rectified the issue, what's even better is you did not have to pay someone $180 per hr to fix an issue easily resolved by helpful members and not being scared by the hoohar regarding Jags being too complex for anyone but a specialist, and having a sensible approach and having a go.
Everything we do on our cars ourselves gains a great knowledge base for ourselves and enables us to assist others here too.

Job well done.

Robinhill,

Just out of interest, what makes #s 3&5 so difficult?

Hello to all, thanks for the info.
I am now looking for the heated windscreen button as Mine may have been sucked up by a vacuum. Any ideas would be helpful
