2014 XJ block heater, north america 110V
Hi all, first post.
I live in Quebec and the block heater is really useful. I bought the xj but I only have the socket in the front grill, not the cable itself. The socket is shaped like a club ( like the deck of cards ) .
I found a cable that fits my north american 110V house outlet and fits in the car socket. It doesn't seem to be heating the block when plugged overnight.
My question to all, does anyone knows if the actual socket for the block heater runs on 110V for canadian models or it works on 220V or 240V something and I have to run a wire from the electrical house pannel all the way to the front of my house.
Thanks.
