Default 2014 XJ Dashboard Spazzing out

Hi,
I was driving and all of a sudden my whole dashboard started spazzing out, flashing every single fault warning. All my gauges were all over the place. After it was done it followed with an ECO-Fault.

I changed the battery, however it happened again when driving in Cruise Control. After it spazzed out the reaming like was the ASL warning.

After turning off the car and Cruise Control for the remaining 7 hours of my drive it didn't happen again. However, the ASL light kept popping on randomly.

Any clue?

Can you monitor the battery voltage?
I have a small 12V cigarette port powered one I got from EBay for around $8. Rides inside my console plus it has a USB charge port so it does double duty.
Very useful and cheap.

What battery did you install? Brand and rating?

I can't remember the year range, but my 2013 had the same issue and it turned out it was the secondary battery. It's pretty scary, especially when driving at night in the middle of nowhere. I only use my Jag for long-distance road trips. It was happening quite frequently, especially after stopping for a short time, such as a rest stop, and taking off in ten minutes. I would have to pull off to the side of the road, turn off the engine, wait a minute, and restart the car. Towards the end I would have to do that several times to get everything working on the dashboard again.

I took it to the dealer, which charged me $400 to tell me both batteries were weak and needed to be replaced, and they would be happy to do that for me to the tune of $1440. I said, no thanks, and went to a local battery distributor and bought both for $250 and installed it myself. Since the secondary (Exide) battery is only sold in the UK, and imported by only Jaguar, it's impossible to find the exact same thing. I bought an AGM battery (motorcycle) of the same dimensions, and slightly better electrical specifications. The terminals are different, so another $16 for new cables with the correct connectors and I was in business. Four thousand miles later it hasn't happened again.
