2016 XJ L
Hi! Looking at buying a 2016 XJ L, V-8 sc. Last Jag I had was a 2011 XJ8 L. Asking the brain trust here of what I should look for that are problematic in the last variants of the XJ? How about the engine: is it pretty durable and reliable? Suspension: is it pneumatic like on the 2011 XJ8? Any info on other areas would be appreciated.
TIA,
Nash.

2016 is a fairly decent year, should have most if not all of the improvements to the problem areas already taken care of (cooling pipes, timing components, sunroof/sunblind rattles, rear only air suspension, etc.) Usual caution with any old Jag, make sure the maintenance was kept up or BETTER, more frequent these things change their oil, the better.

As you'd be going from n/a v8 to s/c v8,
Anxious to hear others' opinions on the feel differences.
Sound and grunt differences should be quite noticeable?
2016 s/c v8 would be a fantastic but are quite rare.
Either way, buy a new battery right away if current one is over 30 months old: saves a lot of spurious error headaches.
