2018 XJL servo epb help
I have a 2018 XJL that needs new rear pads.
the epb is the servo type with motor attached to the calliper.
There don’t seem to be any help videos on pad replacement with this style of calliper.
The bolts holding the calliper aren’t the same as the previous model with the cable operated EPB, though they still have the same sized torx.
the fronts were much easier!
any help winding off the EPB and removing the calliper for pad change would be much appreciated.
thanks

That was a late change to the EPB system so not real common. Jaguar uses the SDD to release the EPB for service. Do you have that?
I have heard there are at least one after market scanner that can release the EPB too.
Sorry I can't help beyond that as I have a 2014 with the cable EPB. With those I did not even use SDD. Just released the EPB from the console and changed the pads.
I did have to search for the EPB pads as they last a long time usually so not common to swap out.
Are you changing those pads too?
