I like this one the best because it's oriented towards the US market and I am in the US. But our UK friends have a great forum too? They have so many diesels over there that most threads don't pertain to my car. But still many, many useful threads and information.
Take a look as there is a ton of stuff on there!
UK Jaguar Forum
But I think your just seeing what happens when a car model is discontinued? Less and less of them on the road and at least for me I rarely see another XJ and in the 6 years of having my XJR I have only seen maybe 2-3 others. Just a very rare car because it never sold in any quantity. Plus how many people who can afford ANY Jaguar even get their hands dirty or know anything about cars?
Not many! But again as I have post more than once this forum has kept me in the Jaguar world. No way could I pay what others have posted to the dealers. I mean I regularly see multi-thousand dollar bills and recommendations for service and repairs. No wonder people dump their cars and buy something else? I won't even mention the terrible fact that we have numerous reports of dealers turning away people with 10 or more year old Jaguar's??

As a car gets older and no longer made, normally the forum activity picks up. New Jag buyers are often not the DIY types, especially if their car is under warranty. Depreciation is so high on this type of car that these cars become very affordable by the people that like to save money doing their own work.
I do think almost every topic has been discussed at length on this forum, so there's not as much to discuss since these cars are not the type that are heavily modified by many of the owners. They are great cars as they are.
