Default AFS (Adaptive Frontlighting System) Retrofit

My Jag does not have an AFS(Adative Frontlighting System). A good opportunity came up for me and I took on the challenge of AFS Retrofit. If I sell my NON-AFS LED headlamps, I expected that the actual cost would not be expensive. The left is the same as mine, and the right is the newly purchased AFS headlamp.

I thought it was an easy job. Two headlamps and an HCM are needed. Some wiring was required, but not much. I wanted to work in similar to the genuine product as much as possible.

I bought a used HCM because I needed a jack. Of course I knew this HCM wouldn't work in.

Wiring harness diagram.

CCF editing and Software download for HCM.

Finally!

Nice! But have you actually tested your cornering lights? Because changing one parameter isn't enough.

Actually, 5 values were changed. Corner lamps are working very well.

Good work. I was going off of the image you posted with only one change.

Adaptive Headlights are really useful at night on country lanes.

Interesting to see you have a leaper in the cornering lights? I swapped to LED headlights on my 2014 XJR and got everything working but mine have no leaper?
Maybe it's only in certain markets?

well... are the cornering ramps not working? LED headlights are clear. If it don't have a leaper, there's an AFS/Cornering lamp, 100%.

He was showing the difference between a non-AFS headlight and an AFS headlight.

OK so the non AFS lights have the leaper? I guess maybe a non-AFS car is very rare in the US because I have never seen a leaper in that spot. Looks good too!

Yes. It's the same with some of the other models such as the X250.

I don't think so as my car (2014 XJR) has the 16 pin connections same as what gloriashield posted above.
