Bluetoot and Sound. Once in a while my sound interrupts and it says "bluetooth reconnecting". Doesn't happen a lot, and mostly just after I got in the car. A but annoying. But logic tells me that many of the "no sound" issues may be triggered by bluetooth". I hope Jaguar will get their software right soon.

I still love it and I am still extremely happy. That is now after 4 months and 2,800 miles.

I'm very happy with my jag! So happy, that I've done 1,700km in 2 weeks... and that's only around the little island of Singapore.

Don't you guys get sick of the people on the X350 forum lambasting the new XJ as a piece of trash that looks like a Toyota Camry?

Hey Mozart is this your Jag at the Lexus dealership? I stumbled upon this while reading autospies and they were wondering what an XJ with low miles is doing at a Lexus dealership.

Did anyone notice that Mozart's poor English interface and his car troubles seem to go hand in hand??
If he walked into a dealership speaking as poorly as his online chat, I doubt he would get much, if any respect! Probably blew him off to get him out of the car as it wasn't exactly helping to sell more Jags. And to replace it with an SC430, one of the most hideous pieces of Asiotrash ever released by Lexus just points to his ghetto persona! Harsh but realistic appraisal of his thread.

Strange that for so many years there weren't any more people loving their new or SH Jags XJ.
After less than 3 weeks and driving around 1000 km I am delighted by my cat.
I love:
Comfort ... speed/acceleration ... adaptive cruise control .... Aaa, exquisite and all leather and wood and exceptional design of the interior .... 20 way power adjustable seats, heated/ventilated/massaged ... wood heated steering wheel ... Dials, colourful, adaptable ... Gear "shift" ....Exterior understated look and especially that is not a Merc nor a BMW or any other "common" brand ... Did I mentioned the bright Ivory leather interior ?

Just can't wait for the summer to be back to test this baby to its full potential.

Really like my XJL Portfolio. Have had it two years and I couldn't be more pleased.

It's not a daily driver but when I do get behind the wheel and hit the road, it is such a pleasure to be in this vehicle. Glad I bought it.

I'm still undecided ... I don't know which one I like better, my 2009 XKR Portfolio convertible or my 2013 XJ SWB 5.0L SC. Both are great rides; gorgeous inside and out, fast, comfortable, reliable and fun to drive. But I'm comparing apples to oranges. I think it comes down to the weather - nice days are for the XKR with the top down. Too bad the XJ isn't available with a drop-top.

Wow, this thread was resurrected after 5.75 years! I'll go on record as saying that I am extremely happy with my car. Have had only one major problem, a head gasket failure that occurred while under warranty and which was expertly repaired by my selling dealer. I never experienced the roof popping noise that so many complained about and I'm not at all into any car's technological abilities so haven't really experimented with any of that stuff. I do not own, or desire, a smartphone, so no linking problems here! I keep my Sirius XM subscription up to date and listen to it exclusively, so have no issues with trying to link other entertainment sources to play in my car. I guess I'm what you'd call an old fogey. Due to my wife's declining health, we do not travel far so I have never needed the navigation system although I would use it if I was unfamiliar with where I was going. I HAVE used the map feature to help me pinpoint roads more easily if I'm driving in the dark, and it works just fine; I assume the navigation would as well. Mine shares daily duty with a 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition 4x4 and a 2015 Ford Mustang Premium convertible so it is NOT a true daily driver, although it is driven several times a week. Owning it has been a total delight.

Couldn't be happier with my car. Fastest car I have ever had and best service I have ever experienced at the dealership. Jaguar takes care of you!

You're in the wrong Forum. This is the X351 Forum, for the current model XJ. You should have posted in the Forum for the previous model, here:
