Default anyone know a tuning spot?

Hello everyone, I live in Michigan, United States. I have a jaguar XJR that I would like to tune with a pulley and a intake from mina gallery. any spots anyone knows about. if not I would like to ask if I weren't to do a tune with a pulley would it still make the car faster, or the sensors would read something and put the car in limp mode.
please help Thank you!!

Jacob, if you are near the Ohio/Michigan border, there is a speed shop down in Toledo (on the edge of Toledo and Maumee, just off of the I-80/90 exit). They would be able to help you out. After that, not sure. I go back to Toledo periodically, but I don't live in the area.

Not sure where you are in Michigan, but I had service done (chains, tensioners, etc.) as well as the S/C coupler on my 5.0 s/c at Eurotoys, West of Chicago. Since he was doing the coupler, I had the smaller pulley installed, in anticipation of some day buying the tune from him or VAP. Real life experience is that the pulley did not affect the top end noticeably, but it seems to that lower end (ie, off the line). This makes sense since it will get to max boost quicker, but still be limited by the computer. I don't regret adding the undersize upper pulley, whether or not I get a tune. Honestly, with the cost of speeding tickets in Illinois, I have not yet pulled the trigger on the tune, but may soon.

Most of us have used VAP. But there are other vendors.
I installed the lower pulley and tune in an easy afternoon on my 2014 XJR.
Can you DIY it?

Two answers to your questions:
-Paul's High Performance
-Avoid Livernois Motorsports for installs. Can't speak to their bolt ons, but their kits are run all over.

To be honest, if you have a good relationship with a regular old mechanical maintenance shop, you can get your crank pulley swapped out, and an ECS, VAP, etc. canned tune installed.
Tuners fly by night at worst. the Eurotoys recommendation is a good one, The Toledo recommendation is a good one.

Just wanted to mention that we can tune XJ XJR cars and have done plenty of XK XKR's XFRS which are nearly identical mechanicly speaking , as a matter of fact have turned one of the fastest 5.0 XFR running mid 11s
