Back Seat Premium Package

Back Seat Premium Package
Hello, I am new here. I am trying to price any used XJL with the back seat premium package that includes the DVD screens and folding tables. No website I have been on has a search option for this package so I am stuck looking at every single car that shows up. I also would prefer the diamond stitching in the leather as well. Any help would be appreciated.

I have these in my 2012 XJL Super Sport. I have tray, reclining/messaging/heated/cooled seats, headrest screens, power headrest, etc., but not diamond stitch pattern. Was this available in 2012?
Car was a former MLB player's car from Miami. Has every option except heated windshield, and adaptive cruise control.
I actually found it on eBay last October at a dealership....jumped on it immediately!

Jaguar Charlotte has one in the show room as of yesterday 6/28/17. It's nice and it also adds a little footstool.

Don't let the color of the interior dictate whether or not you purchase the car. When my two daughters were that age, I drove a 1982 Cadillac Coupe DeVille with white leather. While it sounds counter-intuitive, whatever messes they created were immediately obvious and a quick swipe with a baby wipe kept it looking great. My son came along fourteen years after the youngest daughter and during his early days we were driving a 1993 Lincoln Town Car with a dove gray interior which proved to be just as easily maintainable. He was still only eleven when we bought our first Jag, which had ivory leather. Nowadays there are all kinds of leather cleaners and conditioners available in wipe form and I'd wager to say fifteen minutes per week will keep your seats impeccable. My current XJL has black seats and they always look good but, once I noticed the ivory piping looked a little grungy and decided to do something about it, I found out the dark color was camouflaging a coating of absolute filth! For that I invested $90-couple dollars in a Leatherique cleaning and restoration kit I found on Amazon. Went ahead and did my Lincoln Navigator and Mustang convertible as well (both have very light leather interiors), and maintain all three with leather wipes as necessary.

Thanks for the advice!

Reggie,
Compared to other luxury cars, the XJ is rare, so since you're looking for a particular feature - the back seat premium package - you may want to expand your search outside of Atlanta. It took me almost 6 months, but I eventually found (almost) exactly what I was looking for at Jaguar Chattanooga - and because it was CPO I'm still under warranty until 2018. You can search for Jaguar CPO vehicles here: https://www.jaguarusa.com/certified-preowned/index.html
The XJL Ultimate model has all the features you mentioned, but very few were made. And they didn't only sound expensive ...
For me, CPO was the way to go. Unless you can write it off as a business expense, let the first owner eat the huge depreciation hit. My car was a corporate lease turn-in after 18 months and 28,000 miles, with all the service records and cost almost half the original MSRP.

P.S. Here's exactly what you're looking for: http://www.used.jaguarusa.com/certif...d-5117246.html

Thanks, I did go look at the '14 on Saturday. It was nice! I love the '16 because of the stitching and the new technology, but after talking to my wife we are going to wait until next year when the value has gone down some more. These things depreciate so fast in the first couple of years. I think I will take advantage of that.
I have realized that I will have to look outside of Atlanta. I am willing to travel a reasonable distance to buy one. I definitely think it's worth it.

$84k seems a bit high based on what is out there. This was maybe $120k new? Probably at $70k would be a good price. I would not hesitate to go drive it, talk about it, take it home (they would let you), basically take a lot of the dealership's time, then offer $70k and see where they go. If it's still on the lot next year it'll be below $70k.

Wow this one is nice! Amazing to me that there hasn't been a single physical design change since the X351 was introduced. My bet is 2020 will see a refresh.

Patience has its rewards! I planned my XJL purchase for nearly eighteen months before finally taking the plunge because I wanted to be in a position to pay cash comfortably rather than being saddled with monthly payments. I did the same with my more recent acquisition, a new Lincoln Navigator. I planned and shopped from the time the 2015's came out until I finally bought my 2017 in April. I didn't plan my Mustang convertible purchase so carefully (stumbled onto exactly the right car unexpectedly and made a rash decision to buy it) so ended up with a nuisance payment of $255/month. The biggest problem with that is remembering to pay the damned thing. Would have paid it off by now but that idea didn't fit in very well with my plan to buy the Navigator so, now that that's accomplished, I'll start adding about $1000 per month to my regular payment and knock it out completely over the next year, after which I will be debt-free again! Yay!
