Occaionally the back up camera doesn't come on for 3-4 seconds after starting the car and putting it in reverse. right now it's not that bothersome. Anyone having this issue. Early build 2012 xjl.

 

If you go to reverse too quickly after starting the car, the system hasn't fully booted yet and the camera doesn't come on. I always wait about 10 seconds after starting the car before I go to reverse and the camera comes right on.

 

Yeah. I've noticed that the audio sometimes isn't accessible right away unti the whole thing boots up . I'll check next time on the back up camera. Makes sense.

 

I meant to say that also sometimes the radio is accessible either.

 

I literally never park forwards, so I've never noticed.
