Battery and fob
Hi guys just recently got a 2014 XJ supersport.
The battery it's on it's way out.
I have a new battery in my BMW 650 that in the shop, they are the same spec AGM 90 amp 900cca, so my plan is to swap them, the BMW will be sold.
The thing is I would need to remove the battery from the XJ take it to the shop, swap it and drive back home to fit it in the XJ.
The Real question is if you can leave the XJ disconnected for a few hours.
This could not be done on the facelifted XF I previously had, you loose communication with fob and everything would need to be programmed, does the XJ stuffer from the same issue.
