Hi,
I have a 2004 xj8, had the classic passenger side blowing heat, Driver's side cold. So did my reading and performed the backflush by disconnecting hoses up front by the resovour. Used bottom hose to drain, top one to flush in to heater core. Had some of the little gel ***** and darker flakes come out, put about 30 gallons gallons through till all clear. Now when I got her running, think I did an ok job bleeding the system, there is no heat.
Feeling the aluminum lines and the hoses they are definatetly not hot, I would say barely warm. So what should I try next test wise or parts?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure but I flush any and all ways before hooking it back up. With a dual climate control system you have split heater and AC cores so you can't get a full flush because there is always a second path for the fluid to go if it runs into a restriction.
To fight this I blast thru both inlet hoses at the same time. There is only one outlet but two inlets. Then I reverse the hoses and flush it that way too. But we need to understand that you can't do a full flush on a dual system.
All the AC service instructions will tell you to not even try on the AC side. I figure it can't hurt and I don't want to change the heater core so I flush the crap out of the heater core.
Here is a picture and I don't think it's a Jaguar but that does not matter because they are all made the same way. Note that one header tank has one tube attached but the other header tank has two tubes on it.
