Blue paint
I was a my dealership yesterday for a service and noticed a new XJ on the lot that had dark blue paint. The info sheet in the windshield stated the colour as being sapphire. Is this the same as indigo blue?
There was nothing else blue in the lot to compare against and the sales guy wasn't informed enough to answer with certainty. When I got home I checked through both a new 2014 and an old 2011 brochure and sure enough "dark sapphire" is the name of the blue chip in the newer and "indigo" as the blue listed in the older. But it's too difficult to tell looking at the chips if they are actually the same paint just renamed. And the cars are a rare-enough sight here that having an opportunity to make a real-world comparison seems pretty unlikely.
Anyone know the difference? Is this a market-specific thing?

Hope that helps!
