Permanent brakes?? Thats a new one. Earlier years have a new brake spring avail to increase tension for noise. Call dealer and ask if avail for your vin since you dont list yr. And light frequent brake application(aka braking like a girl) glazes the pads and rotors and creats squeeling on most semi metallic brake equiped cars, find a deserted road and drive backwards in reverse and hit the brakes hard 2-3 times helps to clean glazing. then change your braking habits

actually Ive found that reversing the braking direction tends to work the best at cleaning the pads, and its alot easier than taking off the pads and rotors and swapping them side to side
