A/C gone out to lunch....
#21
The new interior temp sensor arrived and got installed late yesterday. Alas, the screen still shows the Snowflake on the icon, and there are no controls for the A/C. The exterior temp shows on the screen, and a small amount of cold air comes through the vents, but that's it.
Considering that we know the exterior temp sensor works, the interior sensor is not the problem, and the air conditioning itself blows cold, it's looking like the control computer is the culprit. I have an appt set up for the 12th, so we'll see. As far as DIY, we've gone the distance without the computer scanner.
It was a good experience that taught me more about the car, so that's a good thing. P.S. I have an interior temp sensor for sale for $10!
