Cant find a leather smart key cover for 2012 XJ / XJ-L

Search eBay for "Jaguar XJ silicone key cover". There are many sellers. They're inexpensive, fit like a glove, and are available in many colors. I have them for my XKR keys and will order them for my XJ. Thanks for the reminder. I haven't seen a leather case, but even if I did I prefer the soft silicone cover. You don't remove the silicone cover to operate the key. That cover protects the key from getting scratched or damaged if you drop it.

I have this for my key. The seller QingYing is also quite good with follow ups. so far black and red has done really well for me. no issues with it

BTW i think it is PU leather but i don't really care i just want a good cover.
silicone covers typically suck as they tend to keep slipping if it warms up in your pockets

Each to his own. Fake leather or genuine silicone, your choice. The "leather" one with the lacing around the edges reminds me of the tacky wallet I made when I was a kid in the Boy Scouts. Come to think of it, that cover is probably made by a kid in China. My silicone XKR cover has never slipped in my pocket; I guess it hasn't gotten warm enough down there yet. It's probably made in China, too. But it looks good and works well for me.
