'Clunk' Going Over Bumps

2011 XJL - 70k miles
When driving over significant bumps (pothole, entrance to a shopping center etc) there is a 'clunk noise' that can be felt in the steering wheel. The steering wheel also has a mild vibration at certain speeds.
I have recently replaced the banana control arms. All other bushings seem to be in good shape and are tight. Motor mounts seem ok. When the car is off and I move the steering wheel from side to side I can hear a mild version of that same clunk. I thought I had read at one point of some bushing in the steering column going bad commonly but can't seem to find the info anymore.
Thanks for your help!

Possible sway bar bushings and/or end links.
R&P mounting bushes.
Your symptoms don't point to it but with the age and miles on the car it is common for the top strut mount to cause noise. The normal noise is a metallic sound that you would swear was coming from behind the dash somewhere!
But check the top of the front struts and see what condition the foam is and make sure the rod is centered in the hole. Post a picture if you can.
Steering column problems are pretty rare but that automatic steering wheel movement every off/on cycle must cause wear? I have a 2014 with 60K and the column is not noisy but I do hear it.
