Creaking from both front doors when driving (video)
#21
I just keep searching around and I don't always find it either. Most of these TSB's are listed by number on many sites but do not have the full text so there is some confusion if it's the TSB I am looking for. And as posted above they change them too!
I try to use JTB### but don't include any V's (Versions) as search terms. I hope to see all the versions so I can understand how things changed as Jaguar found out more on the problem.

Both my dealer and me was sure that was the problems. But I never found anyone that had a tool small enough to fit. Tried for almost two months, but no one had or was willing to invest in the correct tool.
I ended up trading it in for an X351 long version without the creaking.
But it's a quite small job if the got the correct tool.

Be aware that your door seals are a source of creaks. With the doors moving slightly in the jams as the car goes down the road. I first clean the rubber weather stripping and then apply Sil-Glyde or Gummi Pflege. Some use spray silicon on them but I find that messy.
Gummi Pflege
Sil-Glyde
Try it before going deeper as it's surprising how much noise there is and I always figured it was because the XJ is so quiet you do hear all the little noises.
It does wear off and I have to apply at least yearly or when I get to noticing the creaks again.
Might save a dealer visit too?
