Downloading phone contacts from Android
Hey All,
Is there a trick to getting your phone contacts to download on 2013 XJ from an Android phone? Whenever I select the phonebook the keys are all greyed out and the message reads downloading phone book. I have tried sending the contact file via Bluetooth but that didn't work.
Thanks,
David

As an IT professional and Android loyalist and a new XJ L lover I can help you. When you sync your phone up via bluetooth, about 30 second later your phone will give you an alert.
"Jaguar wants access to your phonebook, allow YES or NO)". Be sure to click ALLOW and check the box "don't ask again". It's a security feature. If you don't get the prompt when you get in the car, unpair your phone from the car, then pair it up again, then watch for the prompt. You may have previously said "NO" and click "Don't Ask Again". Inadvertently. Therefore you'd need to unpair the phone then star the process again. Good luck.
