EBC Ceramic Brake Pad 'break in'
Just replaced all brake pads with EBC 'red'. I searched the forum but did not see a specific mention of how long it takes for the coating to dissipate off the EBC pad. I know most regular brake pad manufacturers recommend no hard braking for the first 100 miles or so. So, the question is, how long do you anticipate before the ceramic EBC pads become fully usable to their potential?

Na5h, coming straight off of the EBC website, this is what they recommend:
EBC Redstuff is NOT recommended for track use and self beds during the first 100-150 miles of street driving. With new pads and especially when fitted with new rotors however drive cautiously for the first 300-400 miles during which time dust will reduce and the pads will feel better and better.
