So the XJ and XK are no more. What's left for Jaguar?
Their new SUV's and roadster drive nice, feel cheap, and cost too much (the top-trim E-Pace costing $60k, are you kidding me?!?!)
I just can't see a way forward for Jaguar.

One of the main issues seems to have been that the new XJ would have been the only Jaguar using the Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA) platform so Land Rover are going to elusively use that and all new Jaguars will be based on the new Electric Modular Architecture (EMA) platform.

Looking like things are getting even a bit more questionable at jaguar. Supposedly, 2021 is the last year for the sales of the XE and the XF Sportbrake in the US. Sounds like they may be sold in other markets, but the US is not going to see them. So, for the US, if you want a jaguar, you have either a sports car with the F-Type or you have the XF. Looking like Jaguar is following the lead of the other manufacturers and going to an all SUV line-up in the US. Should be interesting.

They want to compete with Aston and Bentley.

For people who see Mercedes as basically Rolls Royce, they were already doing a decent job of being the Bentley to "Rolls Royce".

Following up on my earlier post ...

So you thought you could help reduce air pollution and save the world by buying an electric vehicle. That didn't work out so well for Texans last week when the electric power grid went out. The road to the future is paved with hiccups.

Times change and, ironically, what goes around comes around.

Around 1900, everybody got around by horse and buggy, but only really rich folk could afford a new-fangled automobile. Today, cars are everywhere, but only really rich folk can afford a horse! Without electric power, their new-fangled 1,000 HP electric Tesla is useless. So it's deja vu 1900, - back to the days of 1HP, hay-powered transportation. That's Plan B if you own a ranch.
