Electrical glitch

David, odds are, you have a computer that is momentarily shutting down and then rebooting. i had a similar thing happen in a truck that I own. Every time I put the truck in Reverse, a whole bunch of lights would light up on the dash. In my case, the switch on the transmission got some water in it and was shorting out (tends to happen when you run the truck through 4+ feet of water). In your case, I would venture to guess that you either have a plug that is loose or a wire that is about to permanently ground and blow the fuse. Should be able to connect up a SDD computer and you should see some error codes relating to the module that is acting up.
That is my best guess. Like was said, you have a new fault that we have never seen before. I can rule out a few modules, but, that still leaves a lot to consider.

Definitely electrical. Looks the same as my dash when I had batteries going out, only it happened randomly while driving at night at a constant speed. The headlights would flash, and the stereo would pop. Very scary when you're hundreds of miles from civilization. Since this seems to be from startup I would suspect a connection of some type, such as an intermittent ground or loose battery connection.
