They agreed to get me a new car. It took almost 3-4 months to fix the original car, but I told them I didn't want to keep it, resale value of it would decrease because they had to take the engine apart to replace the engine head cover (or something like that). They ended up ordering me a new car, while I drove the original car. Don't know if it is mental, but the engine seemed a little rough especially cold start.

Just got the new car (which is a '12), and the engine seems smoother (again could be mental).

Nice, glad it all worked out and you're still a Jag customer especially with a nice smooth running car/engine as it should.

My lease is being paid off by Jaguar USA and my car, er former car, will probably either get a new cylinder head or replacement engine according to the tech (+/-1100 miles on odo). Apparently there is/was a number of defective cylinder heads hence the cold start misfire/stumble issues being reported and lucky me got one. Jaguar did not offer me a replacement as they are not sure what the VIN range is of this problem just yet and the engineers in the UK are trying to figure out what's going on. For those of you that have this problem it is NOT normal and even though it gets better or goes away when the car is warmed up it could be a defect in the cylinder head.

Thanks to my dealership and Jaguar USA they stepped up and took the car back...kudos to them. I will miss this car and wish this issue was fully resolved/identified and was offered a replacement.
