Default Farallon Technical Grey-TouchUp Paint?

I have some nicks on my wheels and found the color is Farallon Technical Grey.
It's very minor so I don't think I will take it to a wheel shop but a felt pen type applicator would reduce it's visibility.
Don't see where to get any?

How can you expect to get an jnformed reply if you hide your location? Where's "home"? I understand being paranoid about privacy, but at least tell us the nearest big city and country.

Otherwise, just Google "automotive touch-up paint" and find it yourself on the internet.

Well that's the problem?

There appears to be a Farallon Black Pearl which comes with a clear coat so that must be for body colors as the wheels are not clear coated and they are not black but grey?

So nothing comes up. I am not sure but think the wheels are powder coated.
Just was hoping somebody had touched theirs up?

Not sure what difference where I live makes. But I can order if needed?

Ask your dealer or a body shop.

To the OP I feel your pain. I have mataiva wheels and have had them scuffed and needed touchup and also refinishing. I have had "0" help from both Jaguar and the wheel manufacturer on color or touchup sticks or the OEM color. I've written to both with no assistance. I have a local re finisher that has come up with a close color and has refinished all my wheels to a color they can duplicate. What I use now between re powder coating is a Sharpie pen in either black or a dark gray (if I can find it). So u are not alone in this quest.

Robert,

I have a Sharpie Fine Slate Grey permanent marker pen. I think I bought it from Michael's, but it could have been Hobby Lobby.

As for touch-up paint, I think the best bet is to try the local chain auto parts stores. Take a cellphone photo of your wheels and see what color is closest, either spray, bottle or paint pen.

Stuart you are just not listening??

I have done all the normal things to find this color and it looks like I am not the only one to have done so?

Why this color should be so hard to find I don't know and thought someone (Maybe in a different part of the world?) might have a solution.

The Sharpie pen suggestion is a help but is there any part number? There are a LOT of grey's!

Sounds like the felt tip pen is our only option for now.
I know Hobby Lobby has a lot of selection but the wheel is a bit big to take in.

Take a picture on your cell. View it and make sure the photo color matches the actual wheel color. Then go to your local auto parts store and see if they have a Dupli Color touchup color that's a close match. Or search Dupli Color's website. Or go to Hobby Lobby and see what they have.

Although a felt tip pen may be labeled as a permanent marker, it won't last very long on a wheel. You need automotive paint and clearcoat.

Why is this so hard to figure out?

Again no clear coat? So that won't work.
The sheen on the wheels does not seem to be what you would find in a touch up pen and I am sure it would stand out.
Which is not the point of touch up pain!

The felt tip pen would not be as shiny too.

You need 2 touchup paint pens: (1) color coat and (2) clear coat.

I will say that I sometimes have used my body color touch up paint on my wheel scuffs and it was a very close match. My body color is Lunar Gray paint code: LJZ.

Maybe that's what I am missing? The grey on the wheels does not look like it has a clear coat but it really does?

Will look at that paint code LJZ too.

Just to address the point about location. I am in New Zealand, any suggestion/knowledge of suppliers is probably not going to help with some one in Outer Mongolia. So why would I bother?
