I have a set of new long wheel base lighted tread plates front and rear with instructions for a 2011 xj. Interest???????

 

Got them but they are well worth installing. Adds a very classy touch to a classy car.

I got those and the trunk sill as well. Add a touch of class. Now the 2012's have the illuminated option that you can choose that will come with them installed from the factory as well as the illuminated vents like the Supersport has.

Has anyone figured how to wire the illuminated
Tread plates to the blue accent lighting on the doors??

I would like the tread plates to stay on when the accent
lighting goes on at night, etc....

 

you have to change the power wire from the courtesy lighting that comes on when you open the doors, to the interior lighting that comes on when the illumination does.
