Good question. When I has the RRS apart recently, I couldn't find that answer, so I just left everything in place and made a blanking plate out of aluminum sheet to block off the hole in the supercharger. I just sandwiched that plate between the hose and the supercharger with silicone to provide a good seal on the side of the supercharger. In my case, that hose to the supercharger had a crack and became a vacuum leak that was causing misfires and lean codes on that side of the engine. I am glad to have it disabled. I will do the same with my XJL soon.

If you remove the entire assembly you will need a block off plate to cover the hole. There is an expensive LR part or you can make your own plate as it's just a flat plate.
Plus you need to block off the vacuum hose. So different degree's of removal!

With the severe lack of room at the back of the engine I went with a simple plugging operation. When I remove the SC in the future I might take more of it out.
I have no errors with how I did it.
That's a lot of work to remove all of it too!
