Here is a pic of my car front plate, maybe see if you can just find a part number for the fixing bracket from a UK supplier and just order it from the Uk, I will have a closer look at mine to see how it is fitted

There's a black plastic moulded plinth for our Euro Plates (item 2):
Attachment 81230
(click on the image to enlarge it)
It's pop riveted on.

I would like to make sure it does not cover up any of the sensors.

A part number would be great.

Here's the standard Euro Plinth on my XK. Dimensions are 520mm x 110mm.
As you can see, it's completely clear of the front parking aid sensors (arrowed in red). Although I haven't had an XJ since the X308, there's no reason to think the current XJ would be any different in having the sensor locations well away from all of the standard rectangular and square OE Jaguar plinths.

Thanks
Do you mean where did I get the plates made ?
Over here you can just go online, or Ebay, for plate makers. We have a standard number plate letter font and the size of the plate is a standard size as well, although you can sometimes fit slightly different sizes to the rear of the car.( see the rear of my X350 ) The lettering is a standard size as well.
I have had quite a few plates made for my cars and for friends cars as well, I don't know if they place I use will ship abroad but you could email the girl and find out.
Julie@platecreator.com
She has been a great help to us for a few years as we ask her to just "tweak" the spacings a bit to suit the look I am after.
This is because the UK also has defined letter spacings as well !
If she wonders how you got her details then say I passed them on, she knows me as " Ivor " when I email her.
The costs vary but for the UK they are maybe £30 a pair, I guess you only need one, she does do singles as well, or you could buy two fronts in case you ever crack one.
They offer a few options like borders or slogans underneath but I just have the plain white background and plain standard letters.
My plate should actually read
XJ 11 VOR, spaced like that, but I had them space it to look like
XJ1 1VOR for my name .
We cannot make up any plate we like over here we have to have the plates that are available from the licencing people. My plate is an "11" plate as the car was registered in 2011.
Best of luck.
