2016 Jaguar XJL 3.0
My car is making creaking and rattling noises in the front right side, the noises are constant while driving, parking, or going over bumps. It sounds like it's coming from the interior but it actually isn't. When standing outside and bouncing the car you can hear it as if it's coming from somewhere above the front right wheel, and when the hood is open also you can hear it. When i wash the car the noises go away almost completely for a day or two, then it comes back
The suspension is good and the mechanic checked it all and there's no issues or worn parts, and made sure the nuts of the hood and fenders are tight. They suggested to disassemble the right fender but I can't really wrap my head around it since the noises go away when the car gets washed and some days i cannot hear anything. Any ideas?

.but again i don't see how washing the car removes the noise, is water reaching the shock mount and "lubricating it"?

Have you looked at the top of the mount since it was installed? We tend to see the foam around the center shaft degrades and sometimes the shaft is visibly not centered anymore?
Maybe post a picture?
Yes I can't explain the water effect either but I have seen people quiet the noise by spraying WD-40 at the top of the mount.
That would not hurt anything even if it did not work.
